About Index Signal Core

Official name and founding

Index Signal Core Sdn. Bhd. is the registered business name behind this studio. We were established in 2018 in Kota Kinabalu after two finance and operations practitioners spent a year redrawing unreadable KPI walls for Sabah manufacturers and distributors. The early work was print-heavy: large index panels, hand-marked band lines, and facilitator scripts taped beside the coffee machine. That craft still shapes every commission.

What we do now

We design core performance indexes and early-warning signal charts for rooms that need a shared reading order — not another slide theme. Clients come to us when metric packs grow louder than decisions, or when amber thresholds exist only in someone’s head.

How we work

People

Malaysia context

Our desk is at Office 9, 53 Demo Road, Kota Kinabalu 00000. Much of the work travels by ferry schedule and flight clock — we plan on-site days around Sabah clients and run remote reviews with peninsula stakeholders who share the same index.

Values we will not dilute

Honesty in weights beats decorative balance. If a favourite metric does not lead, it stays off the index. If data cannot refresh on the stated cycle, we say so before colour is chosen.
